Directions for Brewing Iced Tea
Have you been searching for the perfect way to make iced tea? Look no further! We have instructions for brewing a pitcher or a single cup, and our store is well stocked with a delicious variety of premium loose tea for a mouthwatering treat.
To make a one-quart pitcher: In a teapot or heat resistant pitcher, put 6 teaspoons of loose tea and pour in 1 ¼ cups of boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes. Fill a serving pitcher one quarter full with cold water, then add the freshly brewed tea, straining the leaves. Add ice and fill the pitcher the rest of the way with cold water. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
To make a single serving: Using a ratio of 1 heaping teaspoon of loose tea to approximately 7 ounces of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes in a teapot. Strain the leaves and pour the hot tea into a glass filled with ice. Garnish and sweeten to taste.
